This Thames Lighter is a beautifully converted Lighter barge that is full of character and history. This barge was built around 1935 on the River Thames, as a working Lighter Barge. Upon retirement from working service, the barge moved to Little Venice, where she became a delightful and popular bistro and bar. The barge then moved further along the Thames to her current home in 1996, where a survey was completed, recommended works and an extensive refit undertaken. This refit converted the barge into the attractive and thoughtfully designed, completed and modernised living space we see today. The open layout gives a wonderful feel of space and light throughout. As you enter, there is a large, open-plan galley, dining area and saloon, with a cosy multifuel stove and plenty of additional space for family, friends and entertaining.
